Introduction to Integrated Walkway and Chaseway Systems

Medico Fabrication Inc. is the only company that designs and manufactures Integrated Walkway and Integrated Service Chaseway systems; these systems combine a Superior Bus, power cables, steam, gas, water or any other process line within a service walkway or chaseway. By integrating an electrical busway/process lines with a service chaseway or walkway, we are able to drastically reduce the costs and system footprint as compared to seperate installations.

Medico Fabrication Inc. is currently under contract to SNC-Lavalin Inc. to supply the elevated maintenance Integrated Walkways for the elevated and at-grade segments of the Canada Line Rapid Transit Project.

Taking their initial concept and needs into consideration, we created an innovative, efficient design that minimized material and installation labour costs. The system is light, easy to handle and quicker to install, as well as aesthetically pleasing.

The Canada Line is almost 19km running between Richmond, the Airport and Vancouver, scheduled for revenue service in late 2009.
