Integrated Walkway

Often the need for a power feeder system coincides with the need for a walkway or chase way system. Our solution was to develop the Integrated Walkway and the Integrated Chase Way systems. These exclusive systems integrate walkways and chase ways with Cable Bus.

Our Integrated Walkways and Chase Ways are suitable for almost any type of installation, being delivered complete with supports, fittings and accessories. We offer a number of support structure options including: Cantilever (wall mounted), Trapeze, T-Type and Pedestal supports to accommodate any site configuration.

We are also capable of the design and fabrication of any walkway, chase way or cause way to integrate process lines including gas, water, steam and any other line into one complete system. This not only provides a cost effective solution to multiple needs but also dramatically reduces the system footprint as compared to keeping each process separate.

Contracted by SNC-Lavalin Inc., Superior Tray Systems Inc. designed and supplied approximately 19km of maintenance Integrated Walkways for the elevated and at-grade segments of the Canada Line Rapid Transit Project. The Canada Line is an automated rail-based transit service running from Downtown Vancouver south to Richmond, B.C., with service to the Vancouver International Airport(YVR). The Canada Line opened ahead of schedule and began providing regular service August 17th, 2009. Working with SNC-Lavalin’s initial concepts and system requirements, we created an innovative, and efficient Integrated Walkway design. This design not only minimized material costs but also was light, durable and simple to install, further reducing costs by drastically saving on labour.
