Superior Cable Tray

Superior Cable Tray offers several CSA and UL certified cable trays / cable management systems. Medico Fabrication Inc. manufactures custom designed, high quality light to heavy duty cable tray systems which are reliable, robust and cost effective.

There are six (6) types of cable tray systems in the Superior Tray product lineup, namely; Ladder Tray, Hefty Tray, Instrument Tray, Center Hung Tray, Basket Tray and Specialty Trays.

Cable Tray - Hefty Tray (Flanges Out)

Hefty tray with Flanges out is designed for multiple large cables and is frequently installed at paper mill, power plants and industrial constructions. The design has the rungs welded through to the outside of the rails to further enhance its structural integrity while reducing side rail rotation. Materials available are aluminum, mill galvanized steel, HDGAF steel, and stainless steel, all with or without powder coating.

Cable Tray - Ladder Tray (Flanges In)

Ladder tray with flanges in is best for supporting various diameter instumentaiton, power and control cables. Ladder tray is particularly used by power plants, pulp and paper mills, petrochemical plants and industrial constructions that require reliability and strength that may or may not have limited installation space available. Materials available are aluminum, mill galvanized steel, HDGAF steel, and stainless steel, all with or without powder coated.

Center Hung

Center hung cable tray has been designed to simplify the support and routing of lighter-weight power, data, computer, and telephone cabling by the use of a single central supporting rail with rungs securely staked perpendicularly at regular intervals. These types of cable trays greatly reduce the cost of procurement and installation by utilizing less materials, lowering the weight of the system, simplifying the installation.

Instrument Cable Tray

Instrument tray is a one-piece channel section typically used for the routing, management, and organization of data, computer, instrumentation, fiber optic, control and communications cabling. Instrument tray by Superior Tray is available with either a ventilated or solid bottom, constructed in 6063-T6 aluminum, mill galvanized, HDGAF or stainless steel.

Basket Tray

Basket tray is a wire mesh style cable tray designed for the cost efffective routing, management, and organization of data, computer, instrumentation, fiber optic, control and communications cabling. Wire tray by Superior Tray utilizes a T-Welded mesh to provide the installed cables with the necessary support and protection to maintain a reliable, effecient cable tray installation.

EMI Tray and EAM Tray

EMI cable tray or cable raceway is a specialty cable management system offered by Superior Tray designed to minimize the effects of electromagnetic interference (EMI), including radio frequency interference (RFI). Electromagnetic interference occurs in electrical circuits and wirings due to subjection to electromagnetic radiation. This radiation creates undesirable responses or failure of transmissions in cabling systems and can be greatly reduced by installaling cables into the Superior Tray EMI cable tray.

EAM aluminum wire raceway is another specialty cable tray system by Superior Tray, offering wire management and protection for cables while remaining completely nonmagnetic and simple to work with. The design properties of EAM cable tray are particularly popular in locations that cannot allow the installation of magnetic metals such as medical facilites and research laboratories.

Cable Bus

Cable bus consists of a congregation of continuous conductors mounted on nonmagnetic, non-metalic support blocks within a CSA certified ventilated metal enclosure. Superior Tray offers cable bus systems in a wide range of voltages and ampacities to meet all of your power distribution needs. Cable bus is a complete cable management system for industrial, commercial and residential applications, suitable for indoor and outdoor installations, making it the superior power distribution alternative to overpriced and wasteful busducts or wire and conduit installations.
